Pretty Woman: The Musical star Samantha Barks received a Sardi's portrait on Wednesday, April 17. Barks made her Broadway debut as Vivian Ward in the musical adaptation of the popular 1990 film starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere.
Pretty Woman: The Musical features a book by original screenwriter J.F. Lawton and film director Garry Marshall, a score by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance, and direction and choreography by Tony winner Jerry Mitchell.
In addition to Barks, the Broadway company of Pretty Woman is headed by Andy Karl as Edward, Orfeh as Kit, Jason Danieley as Philip Stuckey, Eric Anderson as Mr. Thompson, and Kingsley Leggs as James Morse.
