Jersey Boys 10th Anniversary Performance to Benefit Greater Newark Holiday Fund

The long-running Broadway musical will help the organization kick off the holiday season.

The Broadway production of Jersey Boys will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a benefit for the Greater Newark Holiday Fund on November 6 at 8pm. The show's producers have set aside 300 tickets for the show, priced at $50 each, the proceeds of which will go to the organization to help provide impoverished children with holiday gifts. The code to purchase these tickets is JBNEWARK.

Jersey Boys opened on November 6, 2005, at the August Wilson Theatre and earned four Tony Awards including Best Musical. The show has been seen by over 23 million people worldwide and is currently playing in New York, Las Vegas, London, in cities across North America on national tour, and across the U.K. on national tour.

Written by Marshall Brickman (The Addams Family) and Rick Elice (Peter and the Starcatcher), the musical follows the rise of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, the popular 1960s pop/rock quartet made famous by hit songs such as "Sherry," "Walk Like a Man," and "Big Girls Don't Cry." Jersey Boys also features music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe, and direction by two-time Tony Award winner Des McAnuff with choreography by Sergio Trujillo.

The company currently features Richard H. Blake (Tommy Devito), Matt Bogart (Nick Massi), Joseph Leo Bwarie (Frankie Valli), and Quinn VanAntwerp (Bob Gaudio). Peter Gregus, Mark Lotito, Candi Boyd, Jared Bradshaw, Cara Cooper, John Edwards, Frankie J. Galasso, Leo Huppert, Rory Max Kaplan, Katie O’Toole, Joe Payne, Mauricio Pérez, John Rochette, Jessica Rush, Dominic Scaglione Jr., Nathan Scherich, and Sara Schmidt complete the company.
