Harry Potter and the Cursed Child to Offer "Friday Forty" Tickets

Beginning March 9, every Friday at 1pm ET, the Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will release 40 tickets for every performance the following week at $40 ($20 per part). These "Friday Forty" tickets will be available only through the official website,, or the TodayTix App. Winners pay $40 total per person, securing a seat for parts 1 and 2 in consecutive performances the following week. Winners are able to purchase a maximum of two tickets for parts 1 and 2 in one transaction. Winners can pickup tickets at the box office on the day of their performance.

Based on a new original story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a new play by Jack Thorne, directed by John Tiffany. The play is the eighth story in the Harry Potter series and the first official Harry Potter story to be presented onstage. The production received its world premiere in July 2016 at the Palace Theatre in London, where it continues to play to sold-out houses.

The Broadway company features seven members of the original West End production: Jamie Parker (Harry Potter), Noma Dumezweni (Hermione Granger), and Paul Thornley (Ron Weasley), with Poppy Miller (Ginny Potter), Sam Clemmett (Albus Potter), Alex Price (Draco Malfoy), and Anthony Boyle (Scorpius Malfoy).

Performances begin March 16 at the fully renovated Lyric Theatre ahead of an opening night set for April 22.
