First Look Inside Mean Girls; Broadway Cast Album Available for Preorder

Tina Fey’s screen-to-stage project opens on Broadway this Sunday.

In advance of its Broadway opening this Sunday at the August Wilson Theatre, Mean Girls has released a first-look montage, offering a glimpse inside the brand-new musical comedy.

If you like what you hear, the Mean Girls original Broadway cast recording, released by Atlantic Records, is available beginning today for digital preorders and presaves at digital retailers nationwide, ahead of the album's May 18 digital release date. Physical albums will arrive in stores nationwide on June 15.

Tina Fey pens the book (adapted from her hit screenplay), adding music by Emmy winner Jeff Richmond, lyrics by Tony nominee Nell Benjamin, and direction by Tony winner Casey Nicholaw. The Broadway cast is led by Erika Henningsen as Cady Heron, Taylor Louderman as Regina George, Ashley Park as Gretchen Wieners, Kate Rockwell as Karen Smith, Barrett Wilbert Weed as Janis Sarkisian, Grey Henson as Damian Hubbard, Kerry Butler as Mrs. Heron, Ms. Norbury, and Mrs. George, Kyle Selig as Aaron Samuels, Cheech Manohar as Kevin Gnapoor, and Rick Younger as Mr. Duvall.
