The original Broadway cast recording of Dear Evan Hansen has debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200, the highest charting debut position for an original cast album since 1961. Additionally, the album debuted at No. 4 on Billboard's Top Album Sales ranking and No. 1 on the Top Broadway Albums chart. Physical editions of the album arrive in stores February 24.

With a score by Oscar nominees Pasek and Paul (La La Land), and a book by Levenson (Masters of Sex), Dear Evan Hansen is described as follows: "All his life Evan Hansen has felt invisible. To his peers, to the girl he loves, sometimes even to his own mother. But that was before he wrote the letter — that led to the incident— that started the lie — that ignited a movement – that inspired a community — and changed Evan's status from the ultimate outsider into the somebody everyone wants to know. But how long can Evan keep his secret? And at what price?"

Ben Platt stars alongside Laura Dreyfuss, Mike Faist, Rachel Bay Jones, Will Roland, Jennifer Laura Thompson, Kristolyn Lloyd, and Michael Park. Three-time Tony Award nominee Michael Greif directs, with choreography by Danny Mefford, at the Music Box Theatre.
