Danny DeVito and Lucy DeVito to Star in Theresa Rebeck's I Need That on Broadway

The play will be part of Roundabout’s 2023-2024 season.

Father and daughter Danny DeVito and Lucy DeVito will star in the world premiere of Theresa Rebeck's new play I Need That on Broadway this October.

I Need That is part of Roundabout Theatre Company's 2023-2024 season, and will be directed by Moritz von Stuelpnagel at the American Airlines Theatre. Danny DeVito will play Sam, a hoarder whose threatened with eviction unless he cleans up his property. Ray Anthony Thomas rounds out the cast.

Also on Broadway, Roundabout will present the first-ever Broadway revival of Samm-Art Williams's Tony-nominated drama Home, directed by Kenny Leon. The coming of age story, first presented by the Negro Ensemble Company in 1979, will run in the spring of 2024 at the American Airlines Theatre.

In the Laura Pels Theatre off-Broadway, Roundabout will team with New York Theatre Workshop for the world premiere of Nathan Alan Davis's The Refuge Plays, directed by Patricia McGregor (September 2023). In the spring,, Danya Taymor will direct Jonah by Rachel Bonds.

Roundabout will also present York Walker's Covenant in its Black Box Theatre, directed by Tiffany Nichole Greene in October 2023.
