Kenny Leon's new Broadway revival of Mark Medoff's Children of a Lesser God celebrated its opening night at Studio 54 on April 11.

This production features the Broadway debuts of stars Joshua Jackson and Lauren Ridloff, as well as Emmy winner Anthony Edwards, Julee Cerda, and John McGinty. Broadway vets Kecia Lewis and Treshelle Edmond complete the company.

One of the most indelible love stories of the modern age, Children of a Lesser God brings to life the passionate and personal connection between a teacher at a school for the deaf (Jackson) and the remarkable woman (Ridloff) he meets there." The drama debuted on Broadway in 1980, earning the Tony Award for Best Play. This production originated in the summer of 2017 at Berkshire Theatre Group.
