Oberon and The Gold Dust Orphans to Present Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show

Oberon and The Gold Dust Orphans are set to present Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show every Friday night from October 14 to December 2. James P. Byrne will direct.

When clean cut Brad and Janet get stranded on the side of the road and seek help at the Frankenstein Place, they super-naturally get a touch-a-touch more than they bargained for. The show will feature all the classic Rocky Horror songs including “Sweet Transvestite,” “Damn it Janet,” and “The Time Warp.”

Founding member of The Gold Dust Orphans Ryan Landry will lead the cast in the role of Dr. Frank’n’Furter. The cast will also include Kayla Foster, Gene Dante, Laine Binder, Tad McKittrick, Darcie Champagne, James Cerne, Timothy Lawton, Bill York, Cameron Benda, Christian Bufford, Lenni Kmiec, Sarah Mullis, Grace Carney, Robin Yvonne Smith, and Christopher Jane.

Lighting design will be by Justin Paice and costume design by Scott Martino.

The Gold Dust Orphans are a fringe theater company based in Boston and Provincetown, MA. Founded in 1995 by Ryan Landry, Scott Martino, Andre Shoals, and Billy Hough, they are a group of actors, musicians, writers, and visual artists who aim to change the way people see the arts in Boston.

Oberon is the second stage of the American Repertory Theater and a thriving incubator for emerging artists and work that could only exist in this non-traditional environment.
