Joe Calarco will direct and Lorin Latarro will choreograph Barrington Stage Company's revival of the classic musical Kiss Me, Kate, the organization has announced. The production will run from June 11-July 12 on the Boyd-Quinson Mainstage in downtown Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

Calarco's directing credits include The Burnt Part Boys, Gypsy, and the recent off-Broadway revival of A Christmas Carol, among many others. He will also helm Barrington's upcoming productions of Breaking the Code and Romance in Hard Times.

Latarro, who takes over for the previously announced Joshua Bergasse, has choreographed the Broadway productions of Waiting for Godot and Scandalous, as well as Queen of the Night. She has also worked on Broadway's American Idiot and Hands on a Hardbody.

With a book by Sam and Bella Spewack and a score by Cole Porter, Kiss Me, Kate follows the backstage and onstage antics of two feuding couples during a touring production of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. Darren R. Cohen serves as musical director.

Full casting and information about the production will be announced at a later date.
