Broadway veteran John Tyrrell will play Argan, while Emmy nominee Allyce Beasley will play the wacky maid Toinette in Moliere’s classic comedy The Imaginary Invalid, presented by the Schoolhouse Theater in Croton Falls, NY, May 27-June 20. Pamela Moller Kareman will direct.

Originally presented in 1673, this comic masterpiece is about a wealthy and miserable hypochondriac named Argan whose imaginary illnesses and very real wealth attract a wide array of quacks. In response, Argan ingeniously devises his own healthcare plan: he will marry off his daughter to a geeky medical student whose father is a doctor so that he will never have to pay for healthcare again.

The cast will also feature Sari Caine, Quinn Cassavale, Israel Gutierrez, Neal Mayer, Bruce Sabath, and John Schuman.
