The National New Play Network has added two plays by Australian playwrights Vanessa Bates and Declan Greene to the previously announced National Showcase of New Plays, to run November 29-December 2 at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company.

Bates' Every Second is the story of two childless thirty-something couples are desperate to have babies, while Greene's Moth concerns Sebastian, a terminally unpopular 15-year-old with an obsession with anime and death.

These two Australian additions mark the first half of a new exchange program with Sydney-based PlayWriting Australia. In spring 2013, two U.S. writers will visit Australia's National Play Festival to see their work presented for Australian new-play producers.
