Justin Bond to Appear in Ganymede Arts’ Fall Arts Festival

Performance artist Justin Bond, best known as “Kiki” of Kiki & Herb, will perform on Saturday, October 4 as part of the Ganymede Arts Annual Fall Festival, which will take place in Washington, D.C., September 26-October 5.

This second annual event will also include film, cabaret, comedy, dance, and a new play reading. Legendary transvestite performer Holly Woodlawn, best known for her work with Andy Warhol, will kick off the opening night celebration.

Bond was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Special Theatrical Event for Kiki & Herb: Alive on Broadway, and has also received Obie, Bessie, and Ethyl Eichelberger Awards. He has also performed a solo show, Glamour Damage, appeared in the variety show Lustre, and regularly emcees the performance series Weimar New York. His film credits include Shortbus and Imaginary Heroes.
