Music Center at Strathmore’s fifth anniversary concert, Luck Be a Lady, previously announced for February 5, has been canceled due to a weather advisory predicting a snow storm.
The concert was to have starred Julia Murney, Emily Skinner, and Rachel York, with Jim Caruso. Patrons can exchange their tickets for a similarly priced ticket to any other performance presented by Strathmore. The anniversary festivities, including cake and an after party are rescheduled to coincide with the Monterey Jazz Festival on Tour concert on Friday, February 19. That evening will feature jazz artists Kenny Barron, Regina Carter, Kurt Elling, Russell Malone, Jonathan Blake, and Kiyoshi Kitagawa. There will also be a post-concert performance by jazz singer Lena Seikaly and her band.
