Wizard of Oz National Tour Announces New Dates for 2010-2011

The national tour of The Wizard of Oz has announced a new slate of dates for the 2010-2011 season, which will begin its third year on the road with an engagement in York, Pennsylvania on November 20.

This live musical celebration of the iconic 1939 MGM film allows theatergoers to journey back to simpler times as Dorothy, Toto and their friends travel down the Yellow Brick Road to the magical Land of Oz. The score features the classic songs, as composed by Harold Arlen, “Over the Rainbow,” “Ding Dong the Witch is Dead” and “If I Only Had A Brain.”

Tour stops will include St. Louis (November 26-28), Salt Lake City (December 3-4), Hartford (January 18-23), Atlanta (February 3-6), San Diego (February 15-20), and more. The tour will wrap up in Brampton, Ontario, April 1-2, 2011.
