Emmy Award winner John Leguizamo will launch his new tour, John Leguizamo LIVE! at the Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut on July 10 and 11.

The show is described as the writer/performer's "latest installment of leguizamomania!" In it, he will perform vivid accounts of where he's been and the colorful characters who have shaped different facets of his life. The tour, which will continue into the fall, will also include stops at Toronto's Berkeley Theatre, San Francisco's Lensic Performing Arts Center, the Indiana Repertory Theatre in Indianapolis, and additional cities to be announced.

Leguizamo has appeared on Broadway in the recent revival of American Buffalo and in his critically acclaimed solo shows, Freak and Sexaholic. He won Obie and Outer Critics Circle Awards for his solo show, Mambo Mouth, Drama Desk and Lucille Lortel Awards for Spic-O-Rama, and an Emmy Award for the HBO presentation of Freak. His film credits include Love in the Time of Cholera, Moulin Rouge, Summer of Sam, William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet, and To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar.
