Bio:
John Leguizamo was born in Bogota, Columbia to a Puetro Rican father and Colombian mother. He made his Broadway debut with Freak, a one man show which was also filmed for HBO and directed by Spike Lee. He won the 1998 Drama Desk for outstanding solo performance for Freak. His other theater credits include Sexaholic...A Love Story and American Buffalo. His array of film credits include the popular films, Ice Age I and II, Romeo and Juliet, Love in the Time of Cholera, Die Hard 2, and Carlita's Way among many others. In 1995 he appeared in drag as Miss Chi-Chi Rodriguez in the film To Wong Foo Thanks for Everyone, Julie Newmar alongside Wesley Snipes and Patrick Swayze. His TV credits include ER, Miami Vice and My Name is Earl.
