Lawrence Clayton, Rob Evan, Patti Russo, and Danny Zolli will star in The 12, a new musical by Neil Berg with a story by Pulitzer Prize winner Robert Schenkkan. The show will make its world premiere at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on April 1 at 8pm.

The musical is about the twelve apostles, and follows the drama of how these ordinary individuals, torn apart by the unthinkable death of their leader, came together to create one of the most powerful movements ever known to mankind. Berg's original score pairs each apostle with a well-known, classic rock style referencing such icons as David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, U2, Tom Waits, Bruce Springsteen, Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton, Aretha Franklin, and Janis Joplin.
