Florida Rep Education’s Theatre Conservatory Program to Present Pippin

Florida Rep Education’s Theatre Conservatory Program is set to present Stephen Schwartz and Roger O. Hirson’s Pippin, June 15 and 16 in the Historic Arcade Theatre. Rachael Endrizzi will direct.

Pippin is a coming of age musical fable about a prince’s struggle to find meaning and significance in his life.

Pippin is presented as part of Florida Rep Education’s 13-week audition-only Theatre Conservatory Program and features a company of 25 of Florida Rep’s promising young artists. Over the course of 13-weeks the cast has rehearsed with working theater professionals to learn staging, choreography, and music.

The design team includes director Rachael Endrizzi (costume design), Drew LaMott (set design), and Kate Smith (lighting design). Musical direction will be by Keara Trummel, and choreography will be by Amy Marie McCleary.
