New App Theater.Games Launches, Cofounded by Matt Rodin

Theater.Games, a daily puzzle platform for theater fans, is now available as a native iPhone app on the Apple App Store.

Launched on the web in April, theater.games debuted with SPIKE, a daily puzzle in which players guess a Broadway show from a series of clues. The platform has since expanded to include CRTN, a theater-themed word game; REBLOCK, a stage-directions logic puzzle; and PROGRAM, an ordering game centered on theater knowledge.

According to cofounder Matt Rodin, more than 330,000 puzzles have been completed since launch, with over 11,000 registered users. The app retains the web version’s daily puzzles, streak tracking, and shareable results.

Rodin is an Outer Critics Circle Award nominee for his performance in Beau the Musical. His credits also include All the World’s a Stage and the 2023 national tour of Company.
