Anya Garnis and Pasha Kovalev, best known for their appearances on So You Think You Can Dance, will join the touring company of Burn the Floor when it plays at the Kravis Center, running May 4-9. The duo will be reprising performances that they gave with the show when it ran on Broadway earlier this season.

Burn the Floor is created, directed, and choreographed by Jason Gilkison, and blends Latin and Ballroom dance. It was first conceived as a special performance at Sir Elton John’s 50th birthday celebration in 1997. Two years later, the show made its world premiere in the U.K., and it has since toured globally.

The company will also feature Karen Hauer, Sharna Burgess, Sasha Farber, Jeremy Garner, Sarah Hives, Patrick Helm, Ashleigh Hunter, Katarina Stumpfova, Gary Wright, Artem Chigvintsev, Melanie Hooper, Robin Windsor and Emma Slater, as well as Mirko Sciolan and Nuria Santalucia; and Damon & Rebecca Sugden. MiG Ayesa and Rebecca Tapia are the vocalists for the production.
