ACT will offer The Weddin' Sangers, created by Purty Mouth, as a late-night companion piece immediately following the mainstage performances of Das Barbecü, August 14-September 5, in the theater's Bullitt Cabaret.
Purty Mouth's take on country and pop music will be featured in a series of presentations, including The Stag/Hen Party (Last Night of Freedom) (August 14-15), about the shenanigans of a Stag and Hen party with cabaret troupe The Hevenly Spies; Always a Bridesmaid, Never a Bride (August 21-22), dedicated to love's losers and the broken-hearted; Speak Now or Forever Hold Your Peace (August 28-29), a wedding drama with special musical guests Paul and Claudia Anastasio; and I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do (September 4-5), a musical celebration of love and commitment.
