John Campion, Sean Patrick Thomas, Elisabeth Waterston Set for Othello at Intiman; Additional Season Casting Announced

The Theatre for a New Audience's critically acclaimed production of Othello, directed by Arin Arbus, will star Sean Patrick Thomas in the title role, John Campion as Iago and Elisabeth Waterston as Desdemona when it plays the Intiman Theatre, July 2-August 2, with an opening on July 8.

The Intiman has also announced that Judith Roberts will star in the solo adaptation of Joan Didion's memoir, The Year of Magical Thinking (August 21-September 20), to be directed by Sarna Lapine.

Robert E. Sherwood's Abe Lincoln in Illinois (October 2-November 15), to be directed by Sheila Daniels, will feature Erik Lochtefeld in the title role and Mary Jane Gibson as Mary Todd Lincoln. The cast will also include Hans Altwies, Clayton Corzatte, Susan Corzatte, Philip Davidson, Angela DiMarco, Russell Hodgkinson, Reginald André Jackson, Peter Dylan O'Connor, Jose Rufino, Matt Shimkus, Richard Nguyen Sloniker, Adam Standley, Kate Wisniewski, and R. Hamilton Wright.

The Intiman's holiday staging of Langston Hughes' Black Nativity (December 1-27) will feature music direction and arrangements by Pastor Patrinell Wright, and feature members of her Total Experience Gospel Choir. Jacqueline Moscou will direct, with choreography by Kabby Mitchell III.
