Youth Theatre Northwest will present Free to Be…You and Me at YTN’s Studio Stage December 2-18. Halie Looper will direct.
Created by Marlo Thomas and Friends, and adapted by Douglas Love and Regina Safran, the showuses music and humor to present life-enhancing themes such as friendship and self-confidence to a new generation of kids. It features songs like “When We Grow Up,” and “It’s Alright to Cry.”
Youth Theatre’s production will feature a cast of 15 actors from Mercer Island, Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, Issaquah and Newcastle.
The production team will include scenic designer Rollin Thomas, lighting designer Brian Jackson, sound designer Julie Parsons, and costume designer Kate Swenson.
