Washington Ensemble Theatre Announces 2009-2010 Season

The Washington Ensemble Theatre (WET) has announced its 2009-2010 season, which will begin with the West Coast premiere of Jennifer Haley’s Neighbohood 3: Requisition of Doom (September 25 – October 26). Makaela Pollock will direct this play about a zombie video game that bears a curious resemblance to the reality of a suburban neighborhood.

In the new year, WET will produce the regional premiere of Peter Sinn Nachtrieb’s exploration of two couples’ relationships, Hunter Gatherers (January 8 – February 8), to be directed by Desdemona Chiang. Robopop! (April 9 – May 10), an ensemble-created piece directed by Heidi Ganser and Ben Zamora, follows.
The theater’s season will conclude with the world premiere of Montana van Fliss’s solo show, Cancer: The Musical! (June 4-21), about her experience of caring for her terminally-ill father.
