Laura Floyd, Jeff McKerley, Wesley Morgan et al. Set for Atlanta Lyric Theatre’s Mikado

Atlanta Lyric Theatre has announced casting for Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Mikado, to be presented at the Earl Smith Strand Theatre in Marietta, April 15-May 1. Heidi Cline McKerley will direct, with choreography by Jeff McKerley.

Laura Floyd (Yum-Yum), Wesley Morgan (Nanki-Poo) and Jeff McKerley (Ko-Ko) will lead the cast of colorful characters as they resolve the complications that arise from their romantic triangle.

The cast will also feature Keena Redding Hunt as Katisha, Danny Cook as Pooh-Bah, and Jeffrey David Gibb in the title role, along with Mary Nye Bennett, Jeanette Illidge, JC Long, Marissa Druzbanski, Caroline Ann Freedlund, Patty Guenthner, Melissa Manning, Michelle Peck, Ashleigh Hoppe, Aneli Wells, Joseph Brewer, Daniel Burns, LaMichael Hendrix, Jason Royal, Preston Watson, and Timothy Parham.

The production will feature sets by Tommy Cox, costumes by Isabel and Moriah Clay-Curley, lighting by Joseph Futral, sound design by Bobby Johnston, and wig design by George Deavours.
