Tony Kushner to Participate in Discussion for Angels in America Exhibition

Playwright Tony Kushner will participate in a public conversation with curator Brad Rosenstein during the opening weekend of the Museum of Performance & Design’s new exhibition, More Life! Angels in America at Twenty, which opens November 6. The discussion will take place at the Herbst Theatre on Saturday, November 6, at Noon.

The exhibition’s five-month run will be accompanied by a number of related events, including further conversations with artists involved with the play, lectures, screenings, and live performances.

Kushner won the Pulitzer Prize for his two-part work Angels in America, which was turned into an award-winning HBO miniseries. His other works include The Intelligent Homosexual’s Guide to Capitalism and Socialism With a Key to the Scriptures, A Bright Room Called Day, Slavs, Homebody/Kabul, and the musicals Brundibar and Caroline, or Change. He also received an Oscar nomination for co-writing the screenplay for Munich.
