Word For Word To Present Food Stories

Food Stories: “Pleasure is pleasure”, a world premiere of short stories by T.C. Boyle and Alice McDermott, will play Theater Artaud in San Francisco. The production, presented by Word For Word Theatre Company, begins previews January 11, and opens on January 14 with a run through February 5. John Fisher will direct.

Boyle’s Sorry Fugu centers on the relationship between restaurants and critics. McDermott’s Enough chronicles a woman’s life and the endless variety of pleasures intertwined throughout.

The cast features Word For Word charter members Delia MacDougall and Patricia Silver along with Molly Benson, Rudy Guerrero, Gendell Hernandez, and Soren Oliver.
