Full Cast, Creative Team Announced for Magic Theater’s Goldfish and Mrs. Whitney

Casting and creative has been announced for the Magic Theater’s productions of John Kolvembach’s comedy Goldfish (October 7-November 8), to be directed by Loretta Greco, followed by the world premiere of Kolvenbach’s Mrs. Whitney (October 21-November 22).

The shows will star Patricia Hodges, Rod Knapp, Anna Billard, Arwen Anderson, Charles Dean, Patrick Alparone, and Albert Pastides. The creative team includes Michael Locher (sets), Alex Jaeger (costumes), York Kennedy (lighting), and Sara Huddleston (sound).

In 2010, Greco will direct the world premiere of Luis Alfaro’s Oedipus El Rey (January 28-February 28), which will be followed by the world premiere of Lydia Stryk’s drama An Accident (April 15-May 26).

In addition, the theater will host a special evening with Theresa Rebeck on December 7, which will include readings of her one-act plays and short stories, a conversation with the playwright, and a cocktail reception.
