Lance Gardner, Howard Swain et al. Set for TheatreWorks’ Superior Donuts

Howard Swain and Lance Gardner will star in TheatreWorks’ production of Superior Donuts, by Pulitzer Prize winner Tracy Letts. Leslie Martinson will direct the production, which will play the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, October 6-31.

The play revolves around donut shop proprietor Arthur (Swain), who is mourning for his ex-wife, and his new employee Franco (Gardner), a sharp young black man with big dreams. The cast will also include Michael J. Asberry, Julia Brothers, Gabriel Marin, Søren Oliver, and Joan Mankin.
