A.C.T. Young Conservatory to Premiere Noel Coward Revue Bright Young People

A.C.T. Young Conservatory will present the world premiere of the musical revue, Bright Young People: The Words and Music of Noël Coward, created and directed by Craig Slaight. It will be performed at the Zeum Theater, May 8-23.

The show includes songs and scenes from some of Coward’s greatest hits, such as The Vortex, Design for Living, and Hay Fever, as well as lesser known gems, some of which haven’t been produced since the 1920s.

The cast will feature Danielle Bowen, Rachel Cunningham, Christopher Garber, Hannah Gorman, Simone Hudson, Michael Martinez, Marguerite Scott, Ryan Semmelmayer, Abram St. Amand Poliakoff, and Jeffrey Taylor. The band consists of Robert Rutt, who is also responsible for the arrangements, and musicians Alec Page and Audrey Vardanega.

The creative team will include Nora Handsher (costume design), Craig Slaight (scenic design), and Ian Smith (lighting design).
