Lantern Theater Company is set to conclude its 2010/2011 season with Vigil by Morris Panych, to run May 19-Kune 12. The production will be directed by Peter DeLaurier, and star Leonard C. Haas as Kemp and Ceal Phelan as Grace.
The play tells the story of middle-aged curmudgeon Kemp who receives a letter from his rich aunt saying she is “old and dying.” Kemp quits his job and crosses the country to ready her for death, beginning an outrageous series of missteps and misunderstandings.
The production will feature sets by Nick Embree, costumes by Natalia de la Torre, lighting by Janet Embree, and sound by Christopher Colucci.
