Broadway veteran Conan McCarty will play George W. Bush in InterAct Theatre Company's world premiere of Lee Blessing's When We Go Upon the Sea, to run April 9-May 9, with an opening on April 14. Paul Meshejian will direct.

The play takes aim at an American populace that has grown strikingly complacent in the wake of extraordinary global challenges, exposing one of the world's most intriguing and influential conflicts: the battle between the elected leader of the free world and a democracy of millions. The cast will also include Kim Carson as Anna Lisa and Peter Schmitz as Peit.
