David Hess, Nancy Lemenager, Julie Reiber, et al. Set for Walnut Street Theatre’s Curtains

Walnut Street Theatre has announced casting for Curtains, to run September 7-October 24. Richard Stafford will direct and choreograph the production, which will musical direction by Douglass G. Lutz.

The backstage musical murder mystery, set in a Boston theater, has a book by Rupert Holmes, music by John Kander, and lyrics by Fred Ebb.

The company will feature David Hess (Lt. Frank Cioffi), Julie Reiber (Niki Harris), Nancy Lemenager (Georgia Hendricks), Denise Whelan (Carmen Bernstein), Jeffrey Coon (Aaron Fox), Fran Prisco (Sidney Bernstein), Laurent Giroux (Christopher Belling), Mindy Dougherty (Bambi Bernstein), Ben Dibble (Daryl Grady), Bill Van Horn (Johnny Harmon), Peter Schmitz (Oscar Shapiro), David Elder (Bobby Pepper), Anne Connors (Jessica Cranshaw), Jonathan Stahl (Randy Dexter), Mollie Hall (Detective O’Farrell).

The ensemble will include Joey Abramowicz, J. David Anderson, Maggie Anderson, Dann Dunn, Drew Franklin, Mollie Hall, Kerri Rose, Jonathan Stahl, Ryan James Stauffer, Jena Vanelslander, Tony Elizabeth White, and Kimberly Wolff.

The creative team will include Robert Andrew Kovach (scenic design), Paul Black (lighting design), Coleen Grady (costume design), and David Demby (sound design).
