Full cast and creative team information has been announced for Walnut Street Theatre’s production of Garson Kanin’s Born Yesterday, to play March 10-April 26, with an opening set for March 18. Mark Clements will direct.

Set in 1946, the play concerns Harry Brock, a businessman who goes to our nation’s capital trying to break into the “special interest” business with an ethically-challenged senator, and hires a journalist to tutor his seemingly dim-witted fiancée.

The cast will star Kate Fahrner (Billie Dawn) and Marco Verna (Harry Brock), with Darren Michael Hengst (Paul Verrall), David Hess (Ed Devery), Joe Jackson (Bellhop), Karen Peakes (Helen/Manicurist), Fran Prisco (Eddie), Bill Van Horn (Assistant Manager/Barber), Susan Wilder (Mrs. Hedges), and Greg Wood (Senator Hedges).

The creative team will include scenic designer Todd Edward Ivins, costume designer Colleen Grady, lighting designer Shelley Hicklin, and sound designer Christopher Colucci.
