Jodi Benson, Nicole Parker et al. to Perform as Part of Philly Pops Season
Broadway veterans Jodi Benson, Allie Mauzey, Nicole Parker, Ryan Silverman, and Sal Viviano will be among the artists who will perform as part of the recently announced Philly Pops Season.
The season will begin on February 8 with A Night at the Oscars, an evening of epic scores from Academy Award-winning and nominated movies. Benson and Viviano will join the Pops in bringing the music to life. On March 21 the orchestra will present Symphonic Surfin’ Safari featuring Papa Doo Run Run, a Beach Boys tribute beach party.
Grammy Award-winning Maestro Peter Nero will join the Philly Pops Orchestra at the piano on April 11 for Ultimate POPS!, which will contain music from light classical to rock ‘n roll. Closing the season will be Broadway’s Most Wicked Villains, a season finale starring Mauzey, Parker, and Silverman.
