Irish Repertory Theatre has announced its summer 2017 season.

In the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage will be Woody Sez: The Life & Music of Woody Guthrie, directed by Nick Corley. The show is devised by David M. Lutken, with Corley, Darcie Deaville, Helen J. Russell, and Andy Teirstein. Running June 1-July 23, the production will star Lutken, Tierstein, Megan Loomis, and Helen J. Russell, and will feature lighting design by Michael Gottlieb, set design by Luke Hegel-Cantarella, costume design by Jeffrey Meek, and music direction by Lutken.

In the W. Scott McLucas Studio Theatre, Irish Rep will present The Aran Islands, by John Millington Synge. Adapted and directed by Joe O'Byrne, it runs June 15-July 23. The production will feature set design by Margaret Nolan, lighting design by Joe O'Byrne, costume design by Marie Tierney, and original music by Kieran Duddy.
