Casey Nicholaw and More Honored at 2015 NYMF Gala

The New York Musical Theatre Festival's 2015 Gala honored Tony Award-winning director and choreographer Casey Nicholaw, theater executive and producer Darren P. DeVerna, and former NYMF board chair Martin Grant at its annual gala, held Sunday, November 15, at the Edison Ballroom.

Nicholaw earned a 2011 Tony Award for his direction of The Book of Mormon. His other notable Broadway credits include Spamalot, The Drowsy Chaperone, Aladdin, and Something Rotten! Nicholaw will also direct and choreograph this spring's new musical Tuck Everlasting. Darren P. DeVerna is the CEO of Global Theatrical Production for Production Resource Group LLC. Grant served as a NYMF board member for seven years.

"Casey, Darren, and Martin have each made extraordinary contributions to musical theater," said the executive director and producer of the New York Musical Theatre Festival, Dan Markley.
