The one-act play, originally published in 1957, is considered to be one of Beckett's most important works. BAM will present Deborah Warner's production of Beckett's Happy Days, starring Fiona Shaw, for a four-week run beginning on January 8.
Turturro, who will play Hamm, has starred on Broadway in Life x 3 and appeared Off-Broadway in Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, Italian American Reconciliation, The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, and Souls of Naples. He can currently be seen on the big screen in Margot at the Wedding.
