A Public Display of Affection

Ethan Hawke, Andie MacDowell, Julianna Margulies, Steve Martin, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Raver, Diane Sawyer, Kathleen Turner and a galaxy of stars come out for the opening of the Public Theater's Hamlet.

On Tuesday night, the Public Theater celebrated the official opening of the Shakespeare in the Park production of Hamlet. Here's the Public's artistic director -- and the show's helmer -- Oskar Eustis with James Rado, the co-author of Hair, which will be the next offering in the Delacorte Theatre.

The evening also honored noted set designer and architect David Rockwell (center), who was joined by frequent collaborators Jack O'Brien and Jerry Mitchell.
