Maurice Hines to Join Diva Orchestra for Centenary Stage Performance

Tony Award nominee Maurice Hines will join the Diva Orchestra for a performance at the new Sitnik Theater of the David and Carol Lackland Center on the campus of Centenary College in Hackettstown, New Jersey, on January 21 at 4pm.

Hines received a Tony nomination for his performance in the revue, Uptown...It's Hot!, which he also directed. His additional Broadway acting credits include Sophisticated Ladies, Eubie! and Bring Back Birdie. He was most recently represented on Broadway with his direction and choreography of Hot Feet.

The performance with Diva Orchestra is part of Centenary Stage Company's Jazz in January series, which will also include The Denise King Sextet (January 14), and an All-Star Jazz Jam (January 28).
