Tony Award and Emmy Award winner Kristin Chenoweth will appear at a live broadcast of Garrison Keillor’s radio show A Prairie Home Companion at New York City’s Town Hall at 5:45pm on Saturday, December 10.
Chenoweth, who will be joined by conductor and music director Rob Fisher, will perform selections from her recent CD, Some Lessons Learned.
The two-hour show will also feature the DiGiallonardo Sisters, the Royal Academy of Radio Actors, Tim Russell, Sue Scott, Fred Newman, The Guy’s All-Star Shoe Band.
Chenoweth won a Tony Award for You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown and has also starred on Broadway in Wicked, The Apple Tree, and Promises, Promises. She won an Emmy Award for her portrayal of Olive Snook in Pushing Daisies, received an Emmy Award nomination for her portrayal of April Rhodes on Glee, and will co-star on ABC’s upcoming series G.C.B..
