Broadway Veteran Dan Frazer Has Died

Actor Dan Frazer has died of cardiac arrest, according to a report on EW.com. He was 90.

Frazer’s Broadway credits include Animals, Goodbye, Charlie, Once More, With Feeling, and Who Was That Lady I Saw You With?. In addition, he served as an adviser to The Workshop Theatre Company.

He might be best known from his portrayal of Captain Frank McNeil on television’s Kojak. Among his other film and television credits are Cleopatra Jones, Take the Money and Run, Gideon’s Trumpet, Deconstructing Harry, Car 54, Where Are You, Route 66, Barney Miller, and Law & Order.

Among his survivors is his daughter, Susanna Frazer.
