Oscar Nominee Richard Todd Dies at 90

Actor RIchard Todd, who starred in the Broadway production of the play The Hasty Heart and received an Academy Award nomination for the 1949 film version, has died in England at age 90.

The Irish-born actor served in the British Army during World War II, and took part in the D-Day invasion in Normandy.

Todd’s many other film credits include Stage Fright, The Dam Busters, Saint Joan, and The Longest Day.
