Lawrence Clayton, Orfeh, Darren Ritchie, and Jana Robbins will perform at Theater Resources Unlimited’s 2011 TRU Love Benefit at Caroline’s on Broadway on Sunday, November 6 at Noon.
The benefit was created to honor those who have lent standout service to the theatrical community. This year’s award recipients are producer Bruce Lazarus; Ben Cameron and the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation; and Lou Rodgers of Golden Fleece Limited.
The event will feature a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres, a three-course luncheon and an awards show co-hosted by the Stone Brothers.
Proceeds will directly benefit the programs of TRU, a not-for-profit service organization that provides, among other services, monthly panels, workshops, a Producer Development and Mentorship Program, a new plays and new musicals reading series and a community e-newsletter of jobs, services, resources and theater events.
