New York Live Arts will present John Kelly in the revival of his Bessie Award-winning work, Find My Way Home, at the Bessie Schönberg Theater, October 22-29.

This theatrical dance narrative is based on the Greek tragedy Orpheus and Eurydice, and is set in Depression-era America. The deconstructed retelling of this classic myth about love and loss situates Orpheus as an early 20th century radio crooner.

The production is directed, choreographed and performed by Kelly (as Orpheus) along with twelve performers and musicians, including original cast members Kyle deCamp and Marleen Menard.

The work will retain its structure and design elements, including original set design by Huck Snyder; original costumes by Gary Lisz; lighting design by Stan Pressner; and film sequences by Anthony Chase.

In conjunction with his performances, Kelly willc reate a series of choreographic sketches outlining his creative process, which will be displayed in the Live Gallery.
