Jennifer Coolidge to Join Cast of CBS’ 2 Broke Girls

Jennifer Coolidge will join the cast of CBS’ hit comedy series 2 Broke Girls, according to a report on TVGuide.com.
She will play Sophie, a neighbor of the lead characters, a pair of struggling waitresses played by Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs.
Coolidge starred in Elling on Broadway last season and was also seen in the Roundabout Theatre Company’s production of The Women.
She is best known for her work in such films as Legally Blonde, Best in Show, and American Pie. Among her other television credits are Sex and the City, and Mad Fashion.
