Daytime drama actor Forbes March will be featured in the New York premiere of Randall Colburn’s Verse Chorus Verse, to be presented at the Cherry Lane Studio Theatre, October 28-November 12. Ricardo Riethmuller will direct.

Set 20 years after the death of Kurt Cobain — the rock musician who wrote the song of the same name for the popular band Nirvana — Verse Chorus Verse follows Polly, the haunted subject of the Nirvana song, as she seeks out the young rock star who wants to prove Cobain’s death was a murder.

The cast will also include Joshua Coomer, Michael Bryan Hill, Michael Mallard, Kristy Powers and Lorraine Rodriguez Reyes.

The design team will include Eric Nightengale (lighting design), Jennie West (costume design), and Sidiq Alexander (sound design).

March has been a regular on several daytime drama series, including All My Children, One Life to Live, and As the World Turns. Additional film and television credits include Campfire Stories, Mutant X, and Degrassi Takes Manhattan.

Barefoot Theatre Company, in collaboration with East 3rd Productions, is presenting Verse Chorus Verse as part of its nine-week Stripped festival of works about “sex, murder, revenge…and sex.”
