On Monday, October 3. George C. Wolfe received the Mr. Abbott Award for Lifetime Achievement in the American Theatre from the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation at a ceremony held at the Edison Ballroom. Joining him at the ceremony were the evening’s host, Emmy Award winner Jim Parsons, and playwright Larry Kramer. Wolfe co-directed the 2011 Broadway revival of Kramer’s The Normal Heart, in which Parsons played Tommy.

On Monday, October 3. George C. Wolfe received the Mr. Abbott Award for Lifetime Achievement in the American Theatre from the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation at a ceremony held at the Edison Ballroom. Joining him at the ceremony were the evening’s host, Emmy Award winner Jim Parsons, and playwright Larry Kramer.
