Jill Eikenberry, Hal Linden, Debra Monk, Michael Tucker, et al. Set for Making Waves Benefit; Galt MacDermot to Be Honored

De’Adre Aziza, Walter Charles, Carole Demas, Jill Eikenberry, Tim Jerome, Hal Linden, Debra Monk, Cass Morgan, Chris Sarandon, K.T. Sullivan, Jane Summerhays, Mary Testa, Michael Tucker, and cast members from Hair will perform at Mainstreet Musicals and WBAI-Pacifica’s benefit Making Waves, to be held at the Society for Ethical Culture, on Monday, November 8. Charles Repole will direct.
At the event, Hair composer Galt MacDermot will receive the 1st Mainstreet Musicals Innovation Award, designed “to honor individual artists who have raised the bar and experimented with the musical theatre art form in ways that are organic, honest, inspiring, edgy and thrillingly entertaining.”
