Edward Albee to Participate in Discussion at Yale on October 22

Three-time Pulitzer Prize winner Edward Albee will participate in a discussion at the Yale University Art Gallery McNeil Lecture Hall on Friday, October 22 at 3pm. Catherine Sheehy will serve as moderator for the event, which is being held in conjunction with Yale Repertory Theatre’s production of the playwright’s A Delicate Balance.

Albee won Pulitzers for his plays A Delicate Balance, Seascape, and Three Tall Women. He won Tony Awards for Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?. He is currently represented in New York by Playwrights Horizons’ production of his latest play, Me, Myself, and I.

As previously reported, Yale Rep’s production of A Delicate Balance is directed by James Bundy, and features Kathleen Butler, John Carter, Kathleen Chalfant, Edward Herrmann, Ellen McLaughlin, and Keira Naughton. It will be presented October 22-November 13, with an opening on October 28.
